FIELD TRIP

Yesterday was our first field trip together! Don't know what I would do without these wonderful ladies!! 

NONSENSE WORD FLUENCY AND SEESAW

So....with EOY assessments approaching, I have been really hitting nonsense words hard! I wanted to share with y'all what I have been doing with nonsense words and Seesaw. If you haven't heard of Seesaw, you should try it!! The parents love it! The kids can record themselves and send it to the parents! My class records every single day!!

Back to nonsense words! Today we used my Bubble Gum Nonsense Words PowerPoint fluency slideshow, which is free in my TPT store. The students then completed the Bubble Gum Spin and Color Nonsense Word Edition. After they completed the spin and color they had to read it on Seesaw! They love reading and listening to themselves on Seesaw and the parents love it too!! Check out the pictures and click on any picture to take you to the download!!

Welcome to Calloway's Corner! 

Hey y'all!! Thank you so much for checking out my blog! My name is Brandi Calloway and I have been teaching kindergarten for 10 wonderful years! I am very passionate about teaching and all the little ones I get to watch grow!!

In 2014 I was given the opportunity to teach in a Spanish Immersion program. This has been such a wonderful experience for me! I have grown so much professionally and personally and I'm excited to share all the things I've learned through this blog!

I have a wonderful husband that understands my devotion to teaching and all the extra hours I put in! I have a 13 year old step-daughter and a 3 year old son that motivate me to be the best I can be! I hope that through watching the work I put in they will be inspired to work hard at everything they do!
